The highly-anticipated fight sees Khabib as the overwhelming favourite, having beaten former lightweight champion Conor McGregor in his previous match-up last year.

The undefeated Russian will face off against the in-form American in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, with those fans not willing or able to travel to the UAE able to instead watch the fight live on BT Sport Box Office HD from 7pm in the UK.
But alongside the legitimate ways to watch Khabib’s title defence will be countless links to illegal live streams that will inevitably be shared across social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Reddit in the build up to the fight.

Websites hosting live feeds of UFC 242 will also rank highly in online searches for the fight, with recent research suggesting that sports piracy has reached “peak levels” in 2019.

Khabib Nurmagomedov returns to the UFC for the first time since his win over Conor McGregor when he defends his lightweight title against Dustin Poirier. The Russian submitted the Dubliner in the fourth round last October but was forced on to the sidelines when he was banned for his part in the brawl that followed his victory.

UFC 242 live stream: ‘Khabib vs Poirier’ results, radio-style PPV fight updates

We’ve purchased the ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) and with it our our dynamic tag team duo, Matt Ryan and Harry Terjanian, will deliver the best possible ‘radio style’ play-by-play broadcast imaginable throughout UFC 242’s main card, starting at 2 p.m. ET in the video player below!
After taking nearly a year off due to a riot induced vacation, Khabib Nurmagomedov — UFC’s new resident anti-hero — returns to the Octagon today (Sat., Sept. 7, 2019) looking to add Dustin Poirier to his ever-expanding hit list in UFC 242’s pay-per-view (PPV) main event.
While most who enjoy watching mixed martial arts (MMA) are annoyed and confused that UFC 242 is coming to you from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and is essentially starting when most fight fans are getting home from the bar (10 a.m. ET), we here at MMAmania.com are excited that the card starts and ends with us having enough time to go to bed at a decent hour.
Aside from Khabib and Poirier looking to unify the lightweight title — and “The Eagle” possibly squaring off with various MMA media members after the show — this card is one of the lighter PPV cards of 2019, with Paul Felder and Edson Barboza acting as the co-main event. I’m not saying this fight won’t be fun, or that this card doesn’t have the potential to surprise us and be the sleeper card of the year, but Dana White may be trying to test and see how much of a draw Khabib is by putting him on a weaker card in his third PPV main event.
Anyway ... want to know what’s going on during UFC 242 main card without parting with that pesky thing called money? Need that for bills, food and your Faberge egg habit? Don’t worry your pretty little noggins, as we’ve done the hard part for you, as we’ve paid for this event, so Harry Terjanian and I can bring you every punch, kick, submission, and possible dance breaks with our live commentary beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
Two dudes, one couch!
Remember, too, that Online Live will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 242 fight card, starting with the Fight Pass online stream at 10 a.m. ET and then the FX-televised “Prelims” undercard at 12 p.m. ET before the ESPN+ PPV main card start time at 2 p.m. ET RIGHT HERE.
